I grew up in Bloemfontein and studied electronic engineering. I relocated to Cape Town in 2006 and I am
now working full time as a technician on currency handling/sorting/validating equipment.
So, where does the photography fit in? After I matriculated, I went to the UK for 2 years and while I was there
I got interested in photography and cameras.
When I returned to South Africa, I bought my first proper film camera to experiment with. It was a hobby
for about 2 years and then I started being recommended for wedding photography and other photographic opportunities, and this is where I am today... working full time during the week as a electronic engineer, while dabbling with solar technology and creatively taking photographs in my spare time.
My portfolio also encorporates model photography and I have published photographs in several magazines, including Passi (lifestyle magazine), topMotor (car magazine), blunt (sport magazine) and heartlands (travel, lifestyle and leisure magazine).
I love the outdoors! In my time off I go camping and rocklimbing, and when the wind blows I kitesurf.
